Yes Heather Smith of ANISE Consulting passed MYOB Certified Consultant exams and has been a MYOB Certified Consultant for many years. Heather Smith is an active member of the MYOB community, and a contributing writer to myBRC a business resource centre developed by MYOB Australia.
2. Are you a certified trainer?
Yes Heather Smith of ANISE Consulting holds a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, the industry standard training certification. Other consultants hold Certificate IV in A & W or teacher qualifications.
3. Are you a MYOB Australia certified MYOB trainer?
Yes Heather Smith of ANISE Consulting is certified trainer with MYOB Australia and listed on their MYOB trainer register.
4. Are you MYOB trainers experienced trainers?
Yes between us we have trained for over 15 years, and over a 1000 business owners and MYOB users in Brisbane and beyond.
5. Can you legally undertake BAS Services in your own right?
One of the main benefits of using MYOB is the BAS can be produced in a matter of minutes. You would not want to learn brain surgery from a first aid officer; you should want to learn MYOB from someone legally able to undertake BAS Services.
Yes our Brisbane MYOB trainers are professionally qualified accountants, and eligible to legally undertake BAS Services. In addition to this Heather Smith is a committee member of the Australian Taxation Office Bookkeeping Advisory Group (ATO BAG) a group that focuses on providing input to shape the design and build of administrative interactions between bookkeepers and the Tax Office. The emphasis is on the development of products and services for bookkeepers, as well as compliance and operational issues.
Some businesses will answer yes to this question, because one person in the firm is compliant, and oversees the other staff. We believe that the person providing the training should be compliant in their own right.
6. Do you have bookkeeping experience?
Yes all our Brisbane MYOB Trainers currently have bookkeeping clients and a comprehensive understanding of what bookkeeping entails. At present we do not have capacity to take on any further bookkeeping clients. We feel we can support the bookkeeping community through supporting and training them.
7. How can your MYOB Trainer support us?
Our network of MYOB Trainers can support you on-site, on-line via remote connection, by email, and on the telephone. After a consultation we offer 2 free 15 minute follow up sessions either by email or phone.
8. What training are your MYOB Trainers undertaking themselves to enhance their knowledge of the market and the industry.
Heather Smith attends bi-monthly training sessions presented by MYOB Australia, monthly training sessions provided by ACCA her profession accountancy body, regular Australian Taxation Office presentations, and weekly public speaking classes conducted by AIM. Heather disseminates this information to all consultants on a monthly basis. Other consultants regularly attend events conducted by their own professional accountancy body, and MYOB Australia training sessions.
9. Are your MYOB Trainers covered by insurance?
Yes at ANISE Consulting all are MYOB Trainers are covered by professional indemnity and public liability insurances.
10. What makes your MYOB Trainers different to the competition?
Well I am not sure what our competition are going to say, but our key area of difference is all our MYOB Trainers are professionally qualified accountants. This means they are Chartered or Certified Accountants. If you are serious about your business, and want to make business decisions based on accurate and reliable financial information, we think you should undertake training with professionally qualified accountants.
We have seen clients who have been misled with inaccurate MYOB training, which has led to hundreds of thousands of dollars in financial errors, and unexpected tax bills when the errors have been identified.
